If there's a flux layer, switch that back to economic use only.It's a bit tedious, but a longer corridor allows for a wider margin of error. You need to be careful to build the floor strip from the centre out. Anything caught directly below a caved-in tile is instantly killed. Controlled cave-in! This involves setting up a long corridor, with (for example) a long, thin line of flooring held up by a single support linked to a lever. ![]() I've had one web-spitting flesh-and-blood FB die of blood loss only after something like a hundred bolts hit it, and another (a dust one) die while trapped up a mushroom after only maybe six bolts (the squad captain had an artefact crossbow and his second bolt tore its middle spine, asphyxiating it).
